New Appointment at HEE Focuses On Software Solutions

Health Enterprise East Limited (HEE), the enterprise hub for healthcare in the East of England – is expanding its team with the appointment of Chandu Patil as Software Innovation Manager.

The move reflects the increasing number of innovations being dealt with by HEE which focus on using software solutions to improve the service on offer to patients.

A ground-breaking interactive training pack to help front-line staff and families working with children with learning disabilities understand Encopresis – repeatedly passing faeces in inappropriate places - has been launched nationwide. It is the brainchild of Dr Chris Lawes, Head of Psychology at North East Essex PCT Learning Disabilities Services and has been developed with help from trained professionals such as School Health Advisors.

The Laindon Survival Model has been developed to enable patients to make a more informed choice about their healthcare. This mortality assessment technology translates the percentage risk of cardiovascular disease from the varying presentations of particular patients.
