Service Delivery Innovations

Publications and Training Aids

HEE can review with a view to assisting where appropriate innovative new ideas for publications and training aids. Ideas will be assessed against the following criteria:

  • contains Intellectual Property (e.g copyright, trademark)
  • fills an identified unmet need
  • is innovative i.e is new and original and has a unique selling point compared to anything else that is currently available
  • has the potential to lead to the development of a tangible end product e.g DVD, CD-Rom, information document, training manual
  • has commercial potential in terms of an identifiable and substantial potential market

Complete the disclosure form for publications and training aids and return to HEE and we will review your idea.

Service Delivery Innovations

Ideas that relate to changes in the way a service is delivered, for example new care pathways, a new type of treatment programme or a new referral management system, fall into the service delivery category.

HEE can provide advice on Intellectual Property, branding, promotion and marketing etc We can also signpost you to other useful organisations.

Your service delivery innovation may have the potential to deliver benefits for both staff and patients as well as potential cost savings. As such other Trusts may be interested in sharing these methods of best practice.
