The Awards
Each year Health Enterprise East (HEE) holds an innovation competition inviting staff working in all branches of the NHS throughout the East of England to come forward with their healthcare innovations.
The 2007 Innovation Competition will be launched by HEE on 8 th January, with a deadline for entries of 30th March, inviting staff to enter their ideas for innovative medical products and services to improve patient experience, delivery of services or staff training.
The winners will be announced at a prestigious Awards Dinner to be held on 7 th June, presented by BBC Look East Presenter, Stewart White.
A total prize fund of £18,000 will be on offer across 3 categories (medical technology; software/ICT; and service innovation) and a number of special prizes will be announced on the night. The short-listed entrants will also be offered additional financial resources and support from HEE to take forward their ideas.
Entries are invited from NHS staff and their independent service providers working within the East of England region.
