Health Enterprise East (HEE) is the NHS Innovation Hub for the East of England. We are committed to improving healthcare through supporting the development of innovative new products and services which meet the needs of the NHS.

HEE provides a broad range of services to NHS Trusts within the East of England, providing expert advice, funding and support to NHS innovators to translate their ideas into practice. Based at Papworth Hospital, 95% of the region’s NHS organisations are members of Health Enterprise East.

HEE is also committed to supporting closer working relationships between industry and the NHS. HEE can facilitate industry access to NHS clinical expertise and key opinion leaders for the development of new products whilst also offering global licensing opportunities.

HEE is part of a national network of NHS Innovation Hubs and a regional network of Enterprise Hubs, supporting public and private sector healthcare providers.

HEE is funded by NHS East of England, the Department of Business Innovation & Skills (BIS) and the East of England Development Agency (EEDA).
