
FREE Two-Day Event Helps SMEs Engage with the NHS
Helping small to medium sized enterprises engage with the NHS is the theme of a two-day conference being held at the
Health Enterprise East (HEE), based at Papworth Hospital, is strengthening its Industry Services team with a major new appointment.

NHS East of England is using its Regional Innovation Fund (RIF) to support ten
innovative projects that aim to improve patient care and efficiency across the region.
NHS organisations were given the opportunity to put forward proven innovations from
outside of their organisations to bid for funding to deliver them locally. Each innovation
had to demonstrate improvements in quality for patients; significant improvements in
productivity and evidence of success.

A one day free training and networking event for NHS staff in the east of England. Theme of the day is the adoption and diffusion of innovation.

A training film to communicate a world-leading technique for dealing with elbow fractures in children, resulting in a simpler operation and faster recovery, has been devised by an Orthopaedic Surgeon at Luton and Dunstable Hospital in conjunction with Health Enterprise East (HEE), the regional NHS partner organisation for innovation.
